DJI’s latest flagship drone, the Phantom 4, arrived earlier this month to widespread acclaim. The killer feature that’s keeping the Chinese company ahead of the competition is the new drone’s ability to start flying autonomously with object avoidance. Currently Drone Filming Company Airline can carry small pets for short trips but a Chinese drone maker EHang has revealed a giant quadcopter big enough to fit a passenger and fly away. How exciting, can you see yourself flying to work everyday?
EHang claims to be building the world’s first ‘Autonomous Aerial Vehicle’ for transporting people.
Unveiled at CES in Las Vegas and called the 184, the all-electric vehicle has four arms with a total of eight propellers at the end.
‘You know how it feels to sit in a Ferrari? This is 10 times better,’ George Yan, co-founder of Ehang said in an interview with Dailymail Newspaper. See it below:
