Aerial filming project for Pink Floyd Music Video directed by Ian Emes

Yeah, that’s correct I was part of the 16 strong crew that spent 2 weeks in Exmoor, England to shoot one single of Pink Floyds latest album The Endless River.

The director Ian Emes phone me up back in 2014 for the secret shot and didn’t tell me at the time who it was for. At the hotel on our first night, Ian announced at the dinner table, we were doing the new video for Pink Floyds, everybody was amazed and we all were overwhelmed.

We had 2 Assistant Director, One cameraman, makeup artist, Models, and even security/Bus driver, although all he did all day is feeding us food, sweats, and water.

Honestly, I never had so much fun on a shot before then. Really truly loved the experience, could do this kind of job every week, well I wish.

Well, the sad thing is, the video never got release and probably taking dust in a shelve somewhere. We never got told why it never did, even though the Band loved, we were told by Ian.

So my skills as drone pilot and Aerial Filming technics sadly cannot be shown.

Oh well, All I can do today is showing you another project, where the video got me Silver Award as DOP (director of Photography) in partnership with Stellar London.

Enjoy it, I’m still getting better at Aerial Filming. Now I have an Award to show for it 🙂

Have fun out there.
